History of Our Club Southern California Bears on Bikes is an off-shoot of the Bear movement and was founded by Andy Madrid with the help of Frank Gates and Craig Martin in September 2001. After months and months of listening to members from the local Bear club asking why don't you form a group for guys that want to ride motorcycles, we finally decided to stop talking and in September we did our first "SoCal Bears on Bikes" ride.

Our Charter
Our Charter? What Charter?? The rules are simple because there are no rules. However, Southern California Bears on Bikes encourages safe riding for all bikers and especially new riders.
The reason our club exists is to give gay men an opportunity to ride with other gay men, and to be able to meet and share their experiences in an environment of acceptance.
